review 1: Weird things happen when you become a runner, and you really like to read. You start reading books about other people's experiences with running. This book felt like a series of shorter articles, and come to find out, the author did write most of the chapters as magazine articles. This didn't matter too much because the author is a good writer and knows how to write about the sport well. I enjoyed it, and it makes me want to go run more.
