Adore Me, the disruptive e-commerce lingerie startup ranked #9 on Crain’s 2016 Fast 50 list of fastest-growing companies in NYC, has continued its scholarship program to support women pursuing a degree in business, and has announced its Fall 2017 Scholarship recipient – Emily Markham, an undergraduate student at New York University.
The Adore Me Scholarship was launched in 2017 by its founder and CEO, Morgan Hermand-Waiche, who began Adore Me with the determination to disrupt the multi-billion-dollar lingerie industry and revolutionize the online lingerie space – all while still attending business school. Since then, Adore Me has grown into one of the fastest growing retailers in the United States.
Passionate to encourage women who share the same entrepreneurial mindset and help them achieve their dreams and business goals, the Adore Me Scholarship provides financial assistance of $1,000 to women who are pursuing a degree in business. Recipients of the Adore Me Scholarships have demonstrated a strong ability to lead in their community and will have already started, or plan to start, their own businesses.
The Fall 2017 Adore Me Scholarship recipient is Emily Markham, an undergraduate student at New York University. Emily’s entrepreneurial skills earned her successful placements in DECA Business competitions as well as the position of President of DECA club. She also applies her leadership and business skills as Head of Fundraising for a local organization and in the Model Congress club. Adore Me congratulates Emily Markham as the Fall 2017 Adore Me Scholarship Winner and is delighted to be a part of her entrepreneurial career.
