review 1: 3.5 stars rounding upThis was a good heartfelt story of love. Mostly the unconditional love of a mother. I wouldn't really call this book a romance as it felt more like a woman's journey through some difficult situations and how she dealt with them. The focus was more about the story of overcoming, adapting and learning versus romance. I did like it though. It had some good emotion that I as a mother could relate to. And it was clean. Always a nice bonus for me.
review 2: Really I would rate this book 2 and 1/2 stars. The first half of this book was boring! The author could have accomplished the events and feelings in a 10th of the pages. Then she would have had plenty of time to fix the last half of the book which in my opinion is where she should of
... morefocused the story. As it is I could have done without all of the holocaust and Hitler stuff. And the stuff about the girl that was adopted. I think these two things where brought into the story to help the reader understand why Lauren decided to keep the baby but it wasn't needed. I would have loved to have more interaction between Lauren and Ethan. It would have made the ending so much better if I felt like these two characters knew each other better. less

This was a pretty good book. I did skim quite a bit of it. Paul was a tool. Ethan was amazing.

I love this story! Of course, I'm the author so that may be biased :).
