review 1: Having a hell of a time, my dear - Glad you were here. This book was a stew of supernatural goodness. Hell, the Seven Deadly Sins incarnate, a hot, smarmy and endearing vampire, demons, and an angel for not so good measure. Dante, the vampire hero, is a combination of Hook from Once Upon A Time and Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Seriously, you can't read his dialogue without hearing THAT accent. Loved it!And Ava, the Sin of Greed, is the kickass heroine who's about to be punished by Lucifer for a crime she didn't commit. Mostly. Ava and Dante's witty banter had me laughing out loud one minute then despairing for their future together the next. AND there were just the right amount of hot, hot sex scenes!I enjoyed every minute of it. I tried to read it slowly so I could... more savor it but it wasn't meant to be. I whipped through it. I can't wait for the sequel. Love, love, loved this world.
review 2: If you love demons, vampires, cosmic battles, romance, laughter and well written stories you should totally give this book a read. I seriously can't praise this book enough. Rosalie Stanton is my favorite up and coming paranormal romance author, but this book is a work of art from start to finish. With a great romance, there needs to be good chemistry between the characters and Ava and Dante are AMAZING together. I love couples that can banter back and forth and Ava and Dante certainly are good at that. But my favorite part of Lost Wages of Sin is the universe Rosalie has created with Lucifer, Big J. and the Seven Deadly Sins. I love the way that Rosalie takes the Christianity story that we've all been raised with and makes it exciting, fresh and new. I never thought I'd develop a crush on Satan himself, but by the end I'm trying to figure out who are the bad guys and who are the good. The hardest part will be waiting for the next in the Sinners and Saints series to come out! less
