review 1: Eh. Not nearly as funny and way more off-puttingly self-indulgent than her previous book. I do enjoy her overall writing style, just think the material selection could have been better. I still read it in three days and think of her mom as Linda from Bob's Burgers, so extra star for those things. Also, I assume she reads/obsesses over her online reviews and assume there'll be a piece about that in her next book (which I will read).
review 2: So very good! Sara Barron says what you're feeling and talks about stuff no one ever talks about, except maybe to your therapist. Through her tales of her masturbation addiction, her strict bowel movement ritual, and her string of horrible roommates and boyfriends, Barron really opens up to the reader and it is cathartic. I
... more would have given it 5 stars but, while it was funny, it didn't make me laugh out loud as much as her first book, "People Are Unappealing, Even Me". Of course, you can only introduce the idea of FUPA one time before it's ingrained in a reader's brain... less

Hilarious memoir. She should hang out with Chelsea Handler.
