review 1: Warning: on my "rated NC-17" shelf for a reason. Hmm...erotic interpretation of Hades' capture of Persephone. Liked the concept, though the execution fell a little flat - and that's even with my abundant fondness for mythology-based stories. Found myself not really caring about the characters, as they themselves seemed to be acting their way through the story. It was as if I was reading a play about actors acting the roles in a play about Hades/Persephone. Not really sure if that makes sense, but there it is.
review 2: I was bored and disappointed with this book. The sex was so boring that I skipped a few scenes because I coulndt stay focus. And the way they talked annoyed me, it doesnt match up with the time period. Hades for spoke like a modern guy not even a... more sophisticated one either and Sephie sounded like a dumb kid. And how does Hades get trick by a nymph. How weak is he? It was meh, I wanted steamy, now i just want my money back. less
