review 1: This is more like 3.5 stars for me. It's cute, witty, and at times I find myself disturbed at how the author's brain is really similar to mine. Some of the comics were a bit strange, but I found myself relating to them...a lot. And I don't know if that's something I should admit publicly.I was expecting a lot more with the cat, Jimmy, based on the title of the book, and that left me a bit disappointed. that said, this book was a great collection and great intro to the artist. I think she has gained a new tumblr follower!
review 2: It's cute and clever but mostly meh. The collection made more sense when I read that she challenged herself to make a comic a day for an undisclosed amount of time. Certainly explains the inconsistency. I like her style so I'm curious... more about her work with more thought and time put into it.2.5I feel guilty that this will go toward my book challenge because I read it in like 5 minutes. Eh, whatever. less
