review 1: This the second book in the series and I loved it just as much as the first.The story picks but right where the first left off. Lexi and Lucca are back home and are settling into a life together. They both face so many different battles in this book. As with book one there are lots of emotions and lots and ups and down in their relationship. I continued to love Lucca even more. Its great how patient and protective he is of Lexi. I also felt Lexi grew so much in this story, I felt she became much stronger as she begins to open up to Lucca and her friends and family. We are introduced to more characters in this book which the author really brings to life and felt that I got to know them well. As with the first book the author drip feeds parts of Lexi’s past and childhood. ... moreThis was done really well and as I already said the more we learn about Lexi’s past the stronger character I felt she become. So much emotion is expressed throughout the story; I felt happiness, sadness and anger. The book is well written and flows really well. Once I started I didn’t want to put in down and I also love that these books are really long to.I can’t wait for the next instalment as I’m sure it’s going to be filled with as much drama and emotion as the first two. Overall a brilliant read that I would highly recommend reading.
review 2: I was given a copy of this book to review.Book 2 of the Luminara Series was amazing and hot! Lucca and Lexi are planning a life together and are so in love with each other. It takes a lot for Lexi to trust and love someone because of her past but Lucca has brought her into the light and shown her what it's like to be the centre of someone's world and to be truly loved. I just hope Lexi and Lucca will be able to plan a long and happy future and get through what ever life throws at them.An amazing 5* read that I will be recommending. This is part of a series with more books to come. less
