review 1: Stephanie takes readers through her ups and downs of life before and after the accident and her recovery and shares raw emotion and personal difficulties of her families' situation. I had stirrings from my own memories of a diagnosis of a chronic disease of how life just has to go on. The kids still need to eat and be put to bed. And during that learning time she had to sacrifice time with her kids to take care of herself and though my experience was far from hers those were hard emotions for me to deal with as well. Sometimes you have to be self-preserving and anyone who makes you feel guilty for that has some serious repenting to do. Her strength was not there to begin with but she found it through tremendous support, prayers and love from others. I knew her sister Page ... more& family for a couple years and she is just a wonderful, wonderful person and her family likewise.
review 2: Recently I have started several books, but one by one they've been set aside - not because they weren't good, but perhaps because they weren't what I was needing right now. Then I started this book, and I didn't set it down again until the last page. If I'd been driving, I would have been burning rubber;) What a beautiful and inspiring story. I cried the whole way through it - in a good way - tears of hope, and love, and faith - tears that heal the soul. Thank you Stephanie, for sharing your story. less
