Valentine Submission
review 1: Very short but satisfying BDSM ebook. Annie's divorce just went through. The man she had married 10 years ago not only cheated on her but got the bimbo pregnant. She was still reeling from the betrayal when she decided she was still going to go on the vacation she and her ex should have taken. Jack runs the B&B. He used to run it with his wife who died two years ago from cancer. He was also the best friend of Annie's ex but wants nothing to do with a man who would do what he did to Annie. Jack is a Dom and hasn't been with anyone since he wife died. He decides its time to put her to rest and act on his strong attraction to Annie. Annie doesn't take long to like Jack's dominant side and all the punishments and sex that comes with it. But her life is 4 hours away, what is sh... moree supposed to do when her vacation is up? Can Jack convince Annie they have a future together?
review 2: Sue Lyndon’s sweet and sexy Valentine’s tale really hit the spot. I can’t resist a touching “starting over” story. Throw in a budding D/s relationship and some hot, kinky lovin’, and I’m in heaven. This was a quick read, but the characters were well written with depth and emotion. Anne is coming from a bad place having just finalized a divorce from her cheating husband. Jack is dealing with his own emotional baggage. He lost his wife three years ago and hasn’t let anyone else into his heart – yet. Anne and Jack were just friends before her divorce, but when they meet at his Bed & Breakfast, sparks fly.The premise is not a new one – the experienced Dom teaching the formerly ‘vanilla’ woman about BDSM. But, I really bonded with these characters and was rooting for them to have a HEA. Anne craved the pleasure and pain that Jack gave her as a way to deal with bad memories of her divorce, and the experience certainly tripped her trigger, so perhaps she had always been kinky-at-heart. ;-)This is a delightful Valentine’s story for fans of light BDSM erotic romances. Don’t miss it! less
