review 1: For the love of pete, do reviewers actually read the books? They don't go to the desert and last time I checked the Marines don't have seals and the people in this book were not Seals. Gack. I really shouldn't count this book as one of my 2012 reads as I skimmed a good half of it- both the long drawn out sex scenes and the "adventure". Guess i didn't read the description well enough, but Blaze books tend to be straight forward contemporaries. Plus enough with the martyr men who know what is best for eveveryone. One of my least favorite romance land cliches ever.
review 2: I loved the story at the beginning until the main characters went off on a rescue mission; that's where the author lost me. Getting it on in the dessert isn't sexy to me. Also it started ... moreto annoy me how the author ended the chapters with trailing periods (or whatever it's called)...At the end of each chapter it ended with....as to say "to be continued". The more I noticed it, it started to annoy me.Will probably revisit this book later. For now it's a dnf. less
