review 1: Cute book. At one point, it felt like the main character was sarcastic about everything, and didn't like anyone or anything, but as it turned out, that was a reflection of her mood at that point. When things got better, so did her attitude. At first I thought I hated that part, but turns out I liked the way the author did it. The mood of the book reflected the mood of the character - instead of telling us how to feel, the writing style put us in a particular mood. Anyway, cute and entertaining book.
review 2: I love Trisha's quirky writing style and sense of humour (eg. referring to the solicitor as that rogue Herries - really laughed at that one). Loved Fergal Rocco the rock god (phwoar), sexy yet loving and tender, and all the secondary characters in th... moreis book. James? Not so much; but you need a little grit in the oyster to produce a pearl, don't you? Trisha's books are for curling up on the sofa and reading in as many greedy gulps as you can manage. Looking forward to reading her next one already. less
