review 1: The lack of action with Mashiro and Miho is becoming a bit tired so something should have been done about that. The 'will they? Won't they?' type literary device is fast becoming the 'Do I really care enough?' And no, I don't. Manga generally, not just this one, always seem to have a lot of shouting which seems a little unnecessary. However a great medical emergency befalls of of our brave Mangaka (yeah, talking it up a bit here) and a what? A boycott?
review 2: Drama, suspense, and plot-twists! This volume had a lot of stuff going on, but was able to execute it well. Again, I like seeing Saiko and Shujin's journey as manga creators become a bit bumpy. It isn't that I don't want them to succeed, it is because I know that in real-life it isn't that easy, and
... moreI feel that it would be, in a weird way, a cheat on the character's themselves for them to not go through the same struggles and difficulties that one would through real-life. This does sort of make up for how easy it seemed for them in the beginning. (This is another reason why I liked Miho's little side story arc in the last volume, with her being pressured to make the photobook). less

This volume was very tense, and even ends on a huge cliffhanger! Good thing I have the next volume.

I had to agree with the editor in chief. Really, it's not worth dying for.
