review 1: Many of the reviews criticize this book for its very Christian oriented theme and outlook. I understand that many people are offended by that, but that was the driving force behind Abby and her story and it ought to be considered. My hope is that even if people choose to ignore the parts of the story about prayer, they realize the ugly truth about Planned Parenthood. The directors and executives care about profit and demand that the number of abortions be increased for the sole purpose of gaining money. It saddens me that our society would be so barbaric as to profit off the death of innocent babies. If Planned Parenthood truly cared about women they would ensure that their needs were met and help women make decisions that don't lead to lifelong regret and remorse. This bo... moreok gave an excellent depiction of the reality of abortion and the clinics that perform them. People who gave negative reviews did so because they continue to hide and distort the reality of how gruesome abortion actually is.
review 2: Abby Johnson's story is truly a must read for those who want to understand the pro-life issue from the perspective of someone who was employed by the nation's largest abortion provider. Unplanned tells one woman's story of how she came from heading a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Texas to standing outside that same clinic praying for the end of abortion. Her involvement with Planned Parenthood gave her inside knowledge that proved useful when she went to the other side. A point I really liked about the book is the story of redemption. It seems like God had special plans for this woman. less

this book is not bad but not great either. The writing is mediocre at best.
