Republicans are running of of ammunition in their desperate battle to save Trump’s disreputable and illegitimate presidency. They know that the ‘Golden Showers’ Dossier, composed by former MI6 agent, Christopher Steele, is 100 percent factual and proves that Trump not only conspired with Vladimir Putin to win the 2016 election, he also committed treason.
When Steele discovered the extent of the relationship between the two men, he immediately reported the information he had discovered to the FBI. But that doesn’t stop two decrepit, old, white Republican senators from making one last effort to protect the worst president in history.
62 year old Lindsey Graham, and 84 year old Chuck Grassley sent a letter to the Department of Justice and the FBI asking them to investigate the veracity of Steele’s findings.
“I don’t take lightly making a referral for criminal investigation. But, as I would with any credible evidence of a crime unearthed in the course of our investigations, I feel obliged to pass that information along to the Justice Department for appropriate review,” Grassley said in a statement.
All lies. Grassley has proven himself to be a Trump ‘toadie.’
Graham added that “after reviewing how Mr. Steele conducted himself in distributing information contained in the dossier and how many stop signs the DOJ ignored in its use of the dossier, I believe that a special counsel needs to review this matter.”
Like Grassley, Graham has proven himself to be a disgrace to the senate and a traitor to the American people.
I have two questions; questions I am positive would not be answered by these two useless old men.
First; why hasn’t the 10 hours of testimony by Glenn Simpson, the founder of ‘Fusion GPS,’ which funded the dossier, been released to the public? This is our country; it does not belong to a group of corrupt politicians. Using ‘secrecy’ as a cover-up is unacceptable.
Second; Why hasn’t a special council been appointed to investigate 17 allegations against Trump for sexual assault. Trump is not above the law and must face his accusers.
Hypocrites and Republicans are one and the same.
