review 1: So, while I found this a real page turner and it's arguably the second quickest I've read a book, the first being the final Potter book which I read after work and before bed. Anyway, back to point, Fergie seems to say what we all want to hear, I loved the little insights etc, but it also seems a little, too nice maybe, eg he discusses how Moyes was part of a wide process to find a new manager, but I think he also made it crystal clear he had a huge say in naming his successor at Utd, why the change??? P.S I honestly believe Moyes would be doing a better job this season that LvG.
review 2: When I reached what was apparently the end of this book, I was stoked to write a scathing review of this book. In all fairness, it wasn't the writing style which presented th
... moree problem. Rather, the content of the book was scattered: I feel as though Alex Ferguson dictated his thoughts and they were then typed and bound into this and it's like looking into a tumble-dryer -- how do you do that and not feel either 1) drowsy or 2) nauseated? But, I persevered and read till the wall of stats - this book should come with a warning "football fanatics only!". Note to self: NEVER read books recommended by my partner. less
