Absolute genius of a Victorian police procedural, with a good balance of grim and sunshine.
I loved this book. Read it for book club in 2 days. It kept me very interested.
Good read. Fan of historical crime books and this one was not a let down.
Not as gory as the 3rd book, but still quite graphic.
