What Amy Vansant has created in Angeli - The Pirate, the Angle &the Irishman is a world that his wholly unique and a bit addictive. I really wasn't sure what to expect going in and was very pleasantly surprised. It really does have a bit of everything. It's a fantasy book, but it's funny. It's a romance book, but it's got a great mystery plot line and the characters were dynamic (my favorite of which was Michael). I read a lot of books in a lot of different genre's and this is one of the very few that I could see lining the bookstore shelves because it's a world that is well thought out and would have wide spread appeal. Great read.
I was offered a free copy of this book on my kindle in exchange of a review. I really enjoyed this book its about Anne Bonny the pirate who gets turned into a Sentinel after she almost dies and has to spend the rest of her life chasing angels that have become corrupted. The story moved at a nice pace and I really enjoyed the characters. I especially loved Con but I have a thing for Irish and Scottish characters in books. I would definitely recommend it if you like paranormal romances. If there's a sequel I definitely want to read it.
Highly recommend. It's hard not to fall in love with the characters.
