I struggled with this book in parts but by the end I cared about the characters.
A powerful evocation of a young girl in an impossible situation.
2.5/5 The prose is beautiful, but not really my cup of tea.
This book is good, but I believe it would have been better.
Everything Beth Kephart writes feels like coming home.
