Colleen Hoover never EVER fails to disappoint, this I realize after reading my fifth book by her. Hopeless was phenomenal and heartbreaking and UTTERLY CAPTIVATING. Her characters are so real and vivid- I dare you to not feel attached or fall in love with at least one. Hopeless is emotionally charged even from the beginning, and I'd be lying if I told you that not a single tear was shed by the end. The gradual unfolding of the story is so heart-wrenching, once you reach the point where all this information comes and hits you in the face and you just CANNOT put the book down. The plot-twist here was very much unexpected and made for a great surprise. To sum up the book in one word: INCREDIBLE. If you haven't read any Colleen Hoover books, do yourself a favour and pick one up. Beware the waterworks.
I am never reading a book written by this author again! The things she writes in her novel are so tragic! And the love scenes are written very poorly in my opinion. Unrealistic. And sometimes, i felt like she over describes everything. Little, tiny, minuscule details that are irrelevant. One more thing: children at the age of 5 or 6 don't have that kind of conversations! Or people having sex: they don't do a monologue while doing that! Never!
An amazing story!!!
