2 F-bombs about a fourth of the way through. So, so sad to put it down, but I'm sticking to my rule.
Had a hard time getting into the story - particularly the present day - Ruth side of the story.
Very enjoyable. Descriptions of the characters and location are wonderful!
Excellent, great new writer.
