Really enjoyed this novel. I loved the main character, Mac. She is a feisty one who goes after what she believes instead of waiting for someone else to talk her out of it. The "dreams" with Amy threw me for a bit, but after awhile I was looking forward to them because the reader got a chance to see how Amy was, since she died before we could really meet her int he novel. And the boys, Kyle and Jason. Truth be told, I like Kyle better. Out of the two, he's the one that finally let Mac in on his feelings and made a move, though he did give her whiplash throughout the novel with her feelings. Jason just seemed like a coward most of the time. I'm waiting for Mac to become a werewolf. I would be extremely surprised to finish this series and she is a human through the whole thing, especially since she is basically surrounded by friends who are wolves. Great book and cannot wait for the rest of the series. Glad I read it!

I was expecting more, I confess. But at least the ending wasn't completely predictable.

Not your average werewolf story. Very unique. Loved it.
