2.5. not as good as the 1st one. brock was pushy and annoying and moody. he could be sweet but mostly he was too intense. his family was too intense. and sweet little miss perfect was too sweet. her best friend was annoying (ugh martha) and she walked all over her but in the end brock was good to her and his kids were cute. i ended up liking all the family components so it was good. however it doesn't compare to hawk and gwen. they were fun and funny and exciting. this was nowhere near as cute or thrilling. hopefully next is better for me!
it was very crude (raw detail/language than Mystery Man so I was a bit surprised)...but I enjoyed what went on in the book...Tess was like the complete opposite of Slim but they fit perfect together, he was so sweet and protective of her and she was made whole by his whole family I about died laughing seeing the name Elvira!!! she is hilarious! love that character and glad she showed up again(as well as shortly, Tracey, Gwen and Cam)
