This book was given to me so I read it because I was curious what Madeleine Wickham would bring to the table this time. However, I was somewhat disappointed, though the plot is complex but the characters did not appeal to me in a slightest bit.I suppose the suspense was a little too draggy and much of the events were predictable. Though I didn't enjoy this book as much as I would like to, there were some parts of it which made me smile.I would recommend this book for light reading, and, if you're a Wickham fan, you might enjoy it more than I did. (:
The Tennis PartyEh Sophie, lo sappiamo ormai che i tuoi libri firmati Madeleine Wickham non appassionano come gli altri... In questo caso A che gioco giochiamo è una lettura scaccia-pensieri e senza pretese, ma anche facilmente dimenticabile. Un incontro a tennis fra amici è il pretesto per raccontare le fragilità e le debolezze delle coppie protagoniste, condite con parecchi stereotipi e luoghi comuni.
Leest lekker weg.
