Maybe I am just getting tired of reading the same series, but this one was just not as good to me. The guy was just too hard on himself. He blamed everything that went wrong on himself. He had too much difficulty accepting who he was and the situation with the heroine. Just not as good as the others. It is almost a stand alone book. I think you could actually skip this book in the series and not really miss anything.
Ellie Denton's life is turned upside down when she loses her mother and her home. To escape her mother's husband, she wishes herself away. I just don't think she was betting on 14th century Scotland. Caden MacAllister has been unlucky in love, and he wants nothing to do with Ellie, but the Fae have other plans. The plot had many ups and downs, and I enjoyed the continuation of the previous story from book 3.
It was enjoyable. A good book to spend some time with.
I loved this book I had read it in a few hours :)
