My biggest issue with this is that it was too short! I know it was intended as a short story but it was a great little story that could have been an awesome book! We get two of my favorite characters - Scatty and Billy the Kid. We also get to see someone very important to Scatty and her past. We get a little of a few Elders too. To really make sense out of what is going on and the universe it is recommended that you read this after reading at least one of the series The Secret of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. Otherwise some of the details Willie be lost on the reader.
I don't like the fact that Michael Scott decided to only release this (and the Joan of Ark story) as E-Versions when I prefer to have a hard copy of my books, but the story itself was very good. Unlike the Joan of Ark short story which was just a history of what happened in the past, this book connects to characters who will interact in the upcoming books so it was nice to see the back story of how they met.
Better than the other short story about Joan of Arc. Billy's just a better character.
Also quite short and fun.
