The thing I really loved about this book was the fact that the characters had real complexity--problems that weighed so heavy on them that it actually triggered feelings in me, the reader. Not very many books do that, especially romance novels. Issues are established and then worked out and forgotten--but not in this one. I really appreciated the rawness and emotional authenticity that Monica Murphy established in the creation of her characters, which continues throughout the whole series. Drew really stood out to me in this first book, but I loved Fable as well and grew to love her even more in the rest of them. I didn't expect to love this series as much as I did but I devoured this book in one sitting and continued right on to the next without hesitation, it was that good! Monica Murphy gained herself a loyal reader out of me and will, no doubt, gain more from anyone else who begins reading this great series!

3,5 starsI enjoy the story but at the middle of the book I started thinking, "again...?"I know the characters has problems in their lives and they had issues in trusting in each other but in almost every scene, when they got a little together, he or she run away immediately and started acting cold. One or two times, I get it, but almost every time…no.The plot promised a lot, I don’t know if it was because it was a small book, but it could have been much more and be a delicious book. It’s good but it’s not amazing.
