Beautiful descriptions of Italy (a place I'd like to visit), but a bit morose and harsh at times.
I thought I would love this book. I could barely get through it. So completely devoid of emotion.
Interesting approach. Personal and yet impersonal....
Oh why can't we all live in Italy!!
Loved, loved, loved this book.
