I liked this book well enough. It was a free download from Amazon, and this book became my entertainment on lunch breaks, and Muni rides. It was only near the end that I read this at home, curious to see what would happen next. It was only when the book ended, that I learned it was the first of a series. That makes sense - it's like any addiction, the first one is always free. That said, I'm not sure how invested I am in these characters. If I want to keep reading, or if I'm satisfied where this story ended. This book was perfect for how I read it. A great lighthearted way to spend thirty minutes a day. If I do get the other books, I will likely opt for the digital copies so that they can entertain me throughout my day.
What an unexpectedly inspiring read. The main character Ginny is living the party girl lifestyle with her two roommates and becomes pregnant with her ex-boyfriend's baby. She faces raising the baby without the father and chooses to get her life together with the help of her friends. I really enjoyed the character development in this book. It was fun following along as Ginny grows as a person into a responsible new mom. This book has a very empowering message for women to find happiness within themselves so that they can share that happiness with others in their life.
young adult fluff.
