Simon Brett is very clever and thoroughly entertaining. I laughed out loud more than once.
I couldn't hack the expositiony beginning. A PGW tribute deserves more verve!
Too mannered to be taken seriously, too campy to be enjoyable.
Not quite as nutty as P. G. Wodehouse, but the same flavor.
Enjoyed that more than the first.
