review 1: A must read for not only celiacs and the gluten intolerant but their friends and family.Ms. Peveteaux style is like listening to an old friend rant.Both humourous and informative I highly recommend this book, but be warned as the title suggest the book is FULL of words some might find offensive, deal with it and read on.While most of the recipes can be found on blogs and other gf recipes their are a few hidden gems.

I rejected most gluten-free friends for years, until my GI finally told me that it was probably time to try giving up gluten. This book is my first into the foray of gluten-free reading, and I am grateful to have read it. Though I am pretty much petrified tha... moret gluten will contaminate all of my food and I'm already reading labels in excess, April's book was the best way to let me know that I'm not alone and remind me that yeah, being gluten intolerant really blows. A great intro for anyone who is in denial that they need to do this and wants to understand their body's rejection of this pesky protein - in laymen's terms. less
