My Top Hydrating Skincare Products

With the “snowpocalypse” hitting the east coast, Charleston got a few inches of snow! It’s been years since Charleston got this much snow and it’s truly a rare and beautiful sight. It’s been a magical to see Charleston as a winter wonderland, with the empty icy streets and the snow covered steeple tops, but my skin and my sanity are ready for it all to melt away.

My skin is very sensitive to the weather. Having snow, ice, and wind all mixed together over the past week, my skin is in some serious need of hydration! These are the products I’ve been reaching for over the past couple of days to soothe my dry, irritated skin.

First Aid Beauty: Ultra Repair Cream

This guy sits on my bedside table and is used every night when my hands are feeling extra dry. It absorbs well and doesn’t leave you with a greasy feeling. I like to apply the cream where I tend to get more dry patches: hands, elbows, and knees. Perfect for relieving my cracked hands from playing in the snow!

Philosophy: Renewed Hope In A Jar Overnight

This is my all-time favorite face moisturizer. When my face becomes dry it becomes very flaky. Philosophy’s overnight formula is targeted to help calm dehydrated skin, boosts cell-renewal, while fighting dullness. Every time I use this I wake up the next morning with my skin feeling renewed and refreshed.

Tarte: Maracuja Oil

If you’re looking for some serious hydration, this face oil will do the trick. Maracuja oil is packed with vitamin C and fatty acids to help firm, brighten, and restore moisture to skin. A small amount goes a long way, so you don’t need too much; I usually do about two pumps before bed and apply to my whole face.

Origins: GinZing Energy-Boosting Get Moisturizer

I really enjoy putting this moisturizer on in the morning. The fresh citrus scent and panax gingseng awakens and refreshes skin, giving it a slight radiance. The gel texture absorbs quickly into my face for instant hydration. This product is great if you’re looking to give your skin a boost and rid of dullness from dehydration!

First Aid Beauty: Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask

If you have a few minutes to spare before you go to bed, I highly recommend doing a facemask! This oatmeal mask helps rid your skin of dry flakes, soothe redness or irritation caused by cold weather and helps shrink pores! It feels luxurious to put on and take off. Always my go to!

The Body Shop: Vineyard Peach Body Butter

I absolutely love The Body Shop’s body butters. I use the Body Butters all over my body daily and it’s hard for me to stray away to try something different. This thick cream nourishes my skin leaving it feeling so smooth and protected from the harsh weather. This is also my favorite scent from the Body Butter collection! Smells just like yummy peach rings
