review 2: Both my 12 year old and I read this book. We love the beautiful illustrations and we enjoyed the high-tech options the author used to track her pet. It's just the sort of thing we have wondered about pets in general - where they go and what they are up to. It turns out t... moreheir day is as interesting as following a human around all day. That is to say, not very. That doesn't mean the book isn't interesting. But the story is only partly about the daily journey of the cat. It is more about the emotional journey of the author. In the end, it turns out that human connections work better than all the high-tech stuff. less
