review 1: Only a book for true Bachelor fans, I can't imagine anyone else would want to read this trashy book. I don't watch every Bachelor season but I did catch the one with Courtney and Ben and like many others, I found Courtney to be the woman I loved to hate. How many times did I say "Ben, what are you doing?, Why are you so stupid?" What Courtney's real motivation is for writing this book, I'm really not sure, but if it is to redeem herself and come out looking like the poor loser who got the raw end of the deal she failed at that. Instead she comes off looking much worse than the sleazy girl we all saw on TV. She claims over and over to be hurt by the other girls on the show, sob, sob, they weren't nice to her, sob, sob. But Courtney got what she deserved. As the title ... moreof the book states, she didn't go on Bachelor to make friends. (And Ben doesn't come out looking like roses either but that was probably one of her goals.)The book is poorly written, full of silly cliches and more than we want to know in some areas (like the time she had diarrhea and was afraid she would "poop" in her pants on national televsion). I give it is two because it mildly entertaining, made me like Courtney even less and does have some behind the scenes sctivity that I found interesting.
review 2: Don't worry, this definitely didn't change my opinion about them at all; Courtney's still a bitch and Ben's still an asshole.I really only wanted to read this for two reasons: first, to see behind the scenes what happens at the Bachelor/Bachelorette, and second, to see what she had to say about Arie. I definitely wasn't disappointed on those accounts! I learned so much about the casting process and what really goes on during the time between the dates. Any Bachelor Nation fan should read this for that reason alone (whether you like Courtney or not). I personally couldn't stand her (or Ben for that matter), and I definitely dislike her just as much now. It was excruciating trying to get through everything about her childhood, when all I really wanted to read about was when she was on the show. However this did validate my point that Arie is the most perfect man to ever appear on the show (though Farmer Chris is a close second), and I'm still waiting for him to be the Bachelor! There wasn't really anything negative to be said about him, unlike Ben and Jesse Metcalfe.Overall it really wasn't a horrible book, just sometimes it's hard to get past her whiny voice and far too many pop culture references, but it's definitely a must read for any fan of the show itself. less

I now know more about this woman's sex life than I ever cared to know.
