review 1: As an educator I was excited to pick up this book! All educators hope to inspire, instill passion, motivate and in some form leave an imprint on the lives of their students. The Priority List is a great read for all those who are or want to be educators...but he makes it look easy. Too easy. On another note, I've recently lost a friend to Cancer and I admire his battle to fight the disease, but in the end not let the disease take away his will to live. I admire his battle, determination, and in the end his mission. The last chapter was the most powerful, I was thankful it ended on a strong and powerful note because I felt the middle lacked a little momentum. The books message was inspirational, powerful and left me- as an educator- having faith that the love of teaching do... morees still exist. An easy, and must read for all middle and high school teachers!
review 2: A dedicated, inspirational and brave man. If only there were more teachers out there with this kind of passion for and dedication to their work. There is so much to say about this book but I am finding it hard to write anything that remotely comes near what I really want to say without sounding trite, so I'm not going to write any more except just read it ...
