review 1: When I first started this book I didn't really like it because the beginning was kind of boring but I made myself keep reading it. It wasn't until about page 100 that it started to pick up and get much better. I would recommend this book to someone who really wants to read it and doesn't mind a slow start. I loved the book and thought that it was written very well but could've been a bit more interesting.
review 2: Gaby Rodriguez's book is a young adult non-fiction book. Gaby's book The Pregnancy Project might sound interesting but like the saying goes "don't judge a book by it's cover" and I found that out after reading the book already. There are approximately seven main characters the author herself Gaby Rodriguez, her mother, her boyfriend Jorge, and the wh
... moreole senior project teacher committee. For Gaby's project she got an idea from her family and friends about being a pregnant teen but having a fake pregnancy she was told she was going to be like her mom and a be a teen mom so she wanted to she how people reacted if she were to be pregnant. I didn't really like the book it was to boring and confusing at times, Gaby would keep jumping from one time to another and then back again and she would repeat things she already told mostly in a different way, she only got interesting in the middle for like two chapters but it was all about the whole project and another part was her telling the school the truth. She wanted to prove people wrong about saying she was going to turn out like her mother but in a different more difficult way then just living her years until she wasn't a teenager anymore and showing them who she really was but her way she turned out happy because she got a good grade and showed people not judge people by what happened throughout their family and to actually she who they can really be. She would write about one day for three chapters which was very boring because she would just repeat things. If she just let the readers know about the project and not her whole life story for her senior year the book I think would have turned out better. Only parts of the book were interesting to me but it didn't turn out the way I thought it would or turn out like other readers opinions but everyone has their own opinion. When she was being tortured with all the t.v people asking for her to do interviews and she was really overwhelmed and she couldn't handle it like everyone thought she could, I felt bad for her and didn't understand why her boyfriend or family didn't try to get read of them when she was so upset. If she got pregnant for real I think the project would have turned out better and she wouldn't have lie to everyone that she told and she wouldn't have had to do interviews for t.v or anything. But finishing the book was honestly the best part because that meant it was over and I knew that I wouldn't actually suggest it as a good book to anyone if they asked. SO I SUGGEST YOU DON'T READ THIS AT ALL. less
