review 1: As a huge CSN fan, mostly focusing on Stills contribution and guitar method, I hadn't really considered Nash's involvement, other than his writing credits for songs that I thought were "ok". But over the years I've started to appreciate his style and efforts more. This book has open the door even wider. An easy read, but still interesting and moderately insightful, it gives wonderful perspective to the group dynamics driving their creative collaborations. Running from his birth through today (2013), this book is a good read that any fan of CSN or Hollies or "Nasby & Crosh" or any of the many bands/permutations Graham Nash has been a part of will enjoy.
review 2: More like "Mild Tales"-- Graham Nash's musings display the kind of trumped-up vulgarity and casual s
... moreexism befitting of the million dollar rock-bio advance. I appreciate his candor and swaggering confidence, and yes, the man did make some truly beautiful and amazing music. But his "wild tales" are all too often vague, repetitive brush strokes about birddogging and "soaking it all in" wherever he found himself throughout the Swinging Sixties and Sensitive Seventies. The book leaves this reader with the feeling of someone overcompensating for something, perhaps advancing age. Still, a recommended read for anyone interested in CSN behind-the-scenes. Also includes some great stories about the Everly Brothers, as well as revealing bits about his family and upbringing in the north of England. By no means awful, but a missed opportunity for something slightly more graceful. less

A fun read. Some great anecdotes. The story gets less interesting as everyone sobers up.
