review 1: Mr. Cain does an effective job describing his background, accomplishments and plans to put this nation back on the right track. He said up front that he doesn't have all the answers, but no one does. He has outlined the Cain Doctrine that would bring businesses back to the US and an estimated timeline of what he plans to accomplish. This is the kind of leader I would like to see in the White House.
review 2: A number of people said Herman Cain ran for president in order to promote his book. Had they actually read the book, they would have known that the book was written to promote the candidacy. As a Herman Cain supporter from well before he announced his candidacy, a lot of it was old news to me. He writes just like he speaks and many times as I was reading... more I could hear his voice speaking the words. The book reads like a pamphlet, not a detailed autobiography but a great overview of what the man stands for and how he hoped to change things. I went to hear Mr. Cain speak on several occasions and had the honor of meeting him once. He was a kind, genuine man who came across as honest and sincere and unfortunately we will never know what could have been. The man in the book and in person comes across as the real deal, "a leader, not a reader". less
