review 1: The title explains the theme of the book, the style is of a personal journal or a conversation with oneself, a commentary on the journey. ... morery about using a walker or being close to a toilet, instead of bitching about it in a book for everyone to jeer at. But after a time, I became irritated with the mom once again. They (sort of) come around near the end but it's too little too late to save the travelogue. less
