review 1: The writer of Chocolate and Vicodin has done an amazing job, particularly considering the fact that she suffered with her non-stop headache all the while writing. The book gives the reader encouragement in their own struggles with headaches or any other chronic health problem. The author provides an alternate point of view from the one most of us have. I recommend it to those who are struggling with their own illnesses, be they physical or other.
review 2: When I chose to read Chocolate and Vicodin, it was merely due to the fact that I needed a book to read. At that point, I had no clue what I was getting into. ... moreeader feel all of the pain she was going through, makes you want her to go on and on about what she's going through at that very moment, and jump to the conclusion simultaneously. My favorite thing about this book was how good the author was at including every detail of her search to find a cure, because it really made me feel like I was struggling with her. But, one thing that really bothered me in this book was how it ended. less
