review 1: Love her books about her son but my one problem with it is, she assumes like many that all our roads are the same. never understanding some of us have much more severely autistic children or dont have the money she has to give the child what they truly need or to afford their damages to home and posessions. I wish I could get the help for my son she did, but some of us just cant since most of its experimental and not covered by insurance and very costly. plus no one listens to us about our kids like they would her since we arent famous. i do overall like her and her books though. and it is nice to know even famous people go thru some of the same stuff sometimes.
review 2: I found this book to be very interesting and informative. I applaud Jenny McCarthy for he... morer fight to help autistic children and their parents. As a teacher, it was good for me to hear from parents and their untold troubles. I've always thought that vaccines can be a cause/trigger for autism and this book clearly explains why. I can't imagine the frustration these parents have when the medical field often turns their back on them. I'm glad that someone who can easily get in the public eye is increasing the awareness and treatment for autisim. less
