review 1: Very well written book that about two WWI Veterans in 1920 struggling to come to terms with their battle scars and injuries and their mutual attraction to one another during a time when this "sin" had to be deeply suppressed, feared and hidden. There is also a bit mystery here ...

review 1: Humor is tough to nail, but this author drives it home, line after line after line. It’s the most successfully comic m/m I’ve read. It’s short, but the humor never fails or flags. I would have loved a sex scene (or a warm-up to sex scene), which could have been absurdly slapstick...
