review 1: I am currently on page 176 of this memoir and I will finish it. However, if it had not been selected by my book club I would not have chosen to read it.. Nor am I enjoying this nth installment in the trend of books by women about the dreadful decisions that they've made - all precipitated by traumatic childhoods. It would also have been nice if Ms Ivin had checked her final text for typos. I've found six already - not misspellings but the total wrong word... Sigh...

Fastt read, a little unpolished in writing style but it was a good story nonetheless.
