review 1: I really enjoyed this book, but I was so disappointed in the ending. I had such high hopes that their journey would be the cement in friendship--that the loss of their friend would bring them closer together. That this was how they chose to mourn, and their adventure would end upbeat and successful. And it was all going that way, until it just stopped and the friendship crumbled. My heart broke a little and then the story ended. I guess that's life.
review 2: Liked the premise of this book, Ross the best mate dies in a road accident, his funeral is staged and fake, at least that's what his three best friends think. So of course, what do they do? They steal his ashes and aim to fulfill Ross's dream of visiting the town of Ross. Naturally, it's not straight forwa... morerd and the boys have to deal with the past and their influence imagined or not on Ross's life and his on theirs. A surprisingly honest read. less
