review 1: This book was a fascinating insight into the life of a child of hoarders. It's one thing to see a TV show with the physical evidence of this enormous, life altering problem, but it is really heartbreaking to read of the impact on a child who grows up in such an environment. I commend the author, not just for relating her story in a compelling manner, but for creating a happy and junk free life for herself. Clearly, it wasn't easy.
