review 1: I really liked this! Great for kids outgrowing Nancy Drew. Friends Sophie Young and Grace Yang like to sneak out of their houses at night and spy on the neighbors; it’s all fun and games until they see something really wrong at the home of creepy school counselor Dr. Charlotte Agford. When no one in authority will believe them (Sophie is grounded for making a “prank” 911 call), the girls are forced into their own investigation, which puts their friendship to the test.
review 2: Reading this book reminded me of the book Thee Times Lucky. I am not sure why or how, but the feel of the book and the characters minded me of it. I found this book interesting, and I liked how sometimes I was not sure who the fugitive really was. This book is about Sophie and Grac
... moree, they are both the same age, but Grace is homeschooled and Sophie goes to a regular middle school. Grace is very bored with her homeschooling, so at night she likes to sneak out with Sophie and spy on people. She hopes to one day become an FBI agent. When Grace and Sophie spy on Sophie's school counselor, they find out a lot about her, they find out things that they never expected. Throughout the book Sophie has to deal with peer pressure and knowing who to trust. less
