review 1: Love, loss, depression, suicide. This book cuts to the core and brings to life one's greatest fears in marriage: your beloved spouse falling in love with someone else, and then taking their own life because they cannot handle the weight of it all. I cannot comprehend the depth of strength Robyn must have to carry on for herself and her girls and to not fall apart day after endless day. This book will haunt me for months, maybe even years.
review 2: After reading some negative reviews on amazon, I was concerned I might not like the wife in this book. Although I probably won't pass it along to most friends due to the dark subject matter, it was right up my alley. I really liked the book and empathized with the writer. I've always thought suicide was such a se... morelfish act, but after reading this memoir, I'm seeing this man's choice in a different light. I love books that make you question your beliefs. This one was sad but captivating. less
