review 1: Aritha Van Herk's afterward is essential and also beautiful. It does remind me of Hatchet and I think of its pastoral nature, its beauty, its spirit. I wonder though that she does not reflect on Wacousta's role in the story, but her first and last paragraph are equally important:...
