review 1: The drug parts are great...ideas and writing on memory and addiction are insightful and beautiful but then the recovery is real fucking boring and then it sort of becomes a recovery book (although maybe one of the better recovery books...along with Recovery by John Berryman) instead of a drug book...and that's why the movie Flight sucked...it could have been such a great John Goodman/ Denzel Washington drug buddy movie...yeah, I digress...but that movie is fucking horrible...stupid critics!
