review 1: The thing about this book is, it's hard to rate it as a work because it's really not a cohesive work; it's a treasury. It includes, among other things, the complete screenplay from *When Harry Met Sally* and a number of her essays I've read in other places. Full disclosure: I did not cover all 557 pages; I probably did about 350 in various sections of the book. But I have to give five stars because it's Nora Ephron and she's brilliant: funny and maudlin and dry and biting and heartfelt. ... morest and snippets of other sections of the book. A number of the writings I had read in her various books. Some of the readings had me laughing out loud for sure.Nora Ephron was a talent in writing and humor. She could write on some sad happenings in her life and have you laughing in spite of the circumstance. She had a rare and wonderful sense of humor. less
